I strive to photograph more than just a locale. I try to capture the sense of being there; the sound, the smell, the intangible feel of a place.
While travelling I snap away like a piranha, not wanting to miss a thing. I strive to catch the present moment, and unpredictable movement of my constantly changing subjects.
Through years of travel, an upbringing in Africa, and a plethora of unbelievable interactions, I have gained a powerful respect for wildlife. Great and small. Sun, sea, land or air.
I love the unpredictability of mother nature, and the constant anticipation of not knowing what is waiting behind the next bend.
My travels lead me to many an awe-inspiring locations, and I wish I could bottle them all in jars and keep those moments forever.
For now, I have photography. And I love finding the new or unique angles that go beyond the blasé.. Seeing things from a different perspective gives you a more-than-typical view of the world. I believe in taking another look, and finding the extra- in the ordinary.

The balance, symbiotic relationships, give-and-take of Mother Nature are inspiring and leave much for us to strive for.
Don’t overlook what is all around you. Take a moment to appreciate the small things.

The art of abstract photography opens the eye to detail that may have otherwise been overlooked.
A bird’s-eye points of view, worm’s-eye too, the abstract, distorted, macro and new.
While studying photography, I explored an endless variety of styles, methods and themes.
Since then I have completed many commissions through my freelance work, as well as many beloved and admired photographers.
Through fashion, food, studio, commercial and more, I further spread my skill set to include a variety of mediums, methods, and mindsets.
